tm : Toggles User Interface (useful for screenshots)

Unlock : Unlocks a given door, container, or terminal.

player.modav : Works the same as setav however is treatedas a temporary increase like those provided by gear, and so will not unlock newperks on the perk tree.

First, get Dog (or some other companion) and go back to Sanctuary. Get the 'You'reSpecial' book under the crib and pick it up and use it. Now that it's in yourinventory, drop it back on the ground and have your dog/companion pick it up, BUT,just before they pick it up, you need to quickly pick it up.
If you can do it correctly he will drop the item and it will still be in yourinventory. Pick up the copy Dog dropped and you should have 2 'You're Special'books. You can drop both on the ground and one should now activate again.
You can also get more than just two special items. You can do that by:

1. Drop special book and clone it.
2. Drop both books and pick up.
3. Drop 1 book and clone it.
4. Drop all books then pick up.
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until desired stats are reached.

To turn on console codes, you the ' key (it's next to the Enter key). This isdifferent from previous Fallout games that used the ~ key.

First, you'll need to find a vendor with any type of ammo. Once there, purchaseall of any type of ammunition so that it gets sent to your side of the screenduring the transaction, BUT DO NOT confirm the purchase!
Click on the ammo on your side of the transaction screen. Choose to give 1 ammoback to the vendor.
Repeat the above actions, but this time give all the rest of the ammo back (withdifferent ammo).
Send all of the original ammo back to the vendor as well. If you did thiscorrectly you should still have one of the ammo on your side of the transactionscreen that you can infinitely click on to get all of the vendor's caps!

After you select your single infinite ammo, you can purchase all of the additionalammo that the Barter has created from this process. You can do this repeatedly toget caps infinitely faster. This glitch works with pretty much anything as asubstitute for the second ammo, as long as you take all of the second item fromthe vendor.

• Acquiring the Cryolator Early

Near the Oveseer's skeletal remains in Vault 111, you can see a locked case that requires the Master lockpicking skill to open it and grab yourself the Cryolator (a powerful weapon that freezes enemies and possibly kills them as well). You can bypass the Master lockpick by having Dogmeat as your companion and returning to Vault 111 (by pushing a button near Vault 111 itself in a little building). When Dogmeat is near the case have him search for items and he will immediately head to it and grab the Cryolator through the glass case and return to you and drop it. There you go! Instant Cryolator! Check Dogmeat's inventory for 200 rounds for the gun also.

• Companions

After getting a companion to like you well enough, you will earn a bonus perk. Note: Dogmeat's perks are already unlocked in the Charisma tree. To increase your relationship level, travel with a companion more often and do not perform actions that they do not like. Send them away before you have to complete actions that are objectionable. However, they can see you through walls and windows. After reaching maximum relationship level, you will have a final dialogue option before earning their special perk. To increase your chances, save the game before making the final dialogue choice.
Codsworth
Location: Sanctuary.
Positive actions: Donating items, healing Dogmeat, modifying armor and weapons.
Negative actions: Speech success, lockpicking and stealing, pickpocketing, killing non-hostile NPCs, Chem usage and addiction.

Special perk: Close to Metal. Gain an additional guess and 50% increased terminal cooldown while hacking.

Location: Trinity Tower.

• Contraptions Workshop: Achievements

• Duplicate items

This glitch allows you to duplicate anything you can drop from your inventory. It also lets you get unlimited S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points (attribute points) to max out all your special skills (strength, perception, etc.) by duplicating the 'You're Special!' magazine. The 'You're Special!' magazine can be found inside your old house in Sanctuary, on the floor in Shaun's room. This basically gives you unlimited everything: infinite weapons, ammo, mini-nukes, fusion cores, attribute points, junk items, and even money when you resell all this stuff. To duplicate items, drop the item you want to duplicate from your inventory (so it is sitting on the ground). Command your dog companion (Dogmeat) to fetch it. Pick it up at the exact same time when he is lowering his head to pick it up. If done correctly, one copy will be placed in your inventory, while Dogmeat drops another after 2-3 seconds. Repeat this as many times as desired. If you are having any trouble duplicating items, first send Dogmeat away before commanding him to pick up the item to ensure you are able to do it correctly. Note: This glitch was performed on an unpatched version of the game. It will probably eventually get patched. To avoid not being able to use this exploit, either do not install new patches before using this exploit or delete the patches. You can avoid patches being installed by disconnecting from the internet until you are ready for the game to install new patches.

Kill an Angler, Gulper, Fog Crawler, or Hermit Crab and harvest their meat. Find a cooking station or build one at a settlement. Note: The Fog Crawler and Gulper recipes require more ingredients, however the Angler meat and Hermit Crab meat is all that is needed for those receipies. The recipes are already at the cooking station. Select one of them and complete it.

• Far Harbor: Islander's Almanac magazine bonuses

Collect the indicated magazine to gain the corresponding effect.

• Far Harbor: WWE reference

Find the Rock Point Camp area. Search here to find Holotapes that show a man named 'Bray Husky' giving instructions to three other men named 'Rowan', 'Braun', and 'Luke'. The names of the family members of WWE Wyatt family are Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman, and Luke Harper. Additionally, Bray Wyatt's original name was Husky Harris.

• Infinite Bottlecap/Loot

Most players have heard of the infinite bottlecap exploit but I'm adding in how to get extra loot out of it. I'm sure Bethesda will patch this soon but until they do, here's how to do it. This method works best for me in Diamond City at my point of progress in the game.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT CLOSE YOUR TRADE WINDOW OR ACCEPT ANY TRADE UNTIL THE VERY END
Step One
Go to Diamond City Market and see Arturo.
Step Two
Buy one type of ammo from him ie .308 rounds, the whole stack.
Step Three
Switch to your inventory and sell him back ONE of that ammo ONE! Then sell him back the remaining stack. You will now see that it has glitched and you still have one of that ammo left in your inventory. You will now be able to sell Arturo back this one ammo endlessly during this transaction.
Step Four
You can do a couple of things now: sell the ammo back until you've taken all of his money or you can buy everything you want from his store and then sell back that ammo over and over until you've made the money back and then take all of his money too (you may get carpal tunnel from hitting the button a mIllinois times).
Step Five
When you're done, now you can hit 'Accept'.
This glitch can be repeated on the other two vendors next to Arturo in Diamond City as well as other vendors in the game, but not all of them. As for Arturo and his friends, you can typically sleep for 24 hours and come back and repeat, although I've had to wait a bit longer sometimes.

• Infinite fusion cores

First, join the Brotherhood Of Steel, which can be done immediately after the game starts. You can join by going to Cambridge Police Station or just following the main story. Either way triggers the 'Reveille' and 'Fire Support' quests. Follow the Brotherhood's quest line until they make you a member. Then, complete their 'Tour Of Duty' quest, where you will meet everyone on the airship. You can then pickpocket a fusion core (make sure you do not get caught) from one the Knights inside The Prydwen (their airship headquarters). Make sure to do this in a secluded area. Once you pickpocket the fusion core from the Knight, he or she will come out of the powersuit, replenish their fusion core, and re-enter the powersuit. Once they are inside their powersuit again, pickpocket the fusion core again. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Note: Quicksave after each successful attempt, just in case you get caught.

• Infinite inventory space (no weight limit)

To get unlimited inventory space for your companion, instead of trading with your companion, simply command them to pick up the item for you. Companions will never be overburdened using this trick. If your own inventory is too full, just drop some heavy objects on the ground and have your companion pick them up. This is especially helpful when you find some good loot but cannot carry more weight, or if you do not want to burden yourself with heavy weapons. This trick allows you to always bring some mini-nuke launchers (Fat Mans), rocket launchers, and mini-guns to fights without having to worry about their weight.

• Infinite XP and companion affinity for some companions

So far, every safe I've encountered that is both pickable and has a terminal nearby to hack qualifies for this exploit. Pick the safe then hack the terminal and relock the safe. Pick the safe again. Open the hacked terminal and relock the safe. Repeat until bored. You'll only get the hacking XP once but you'll get lock XP every time. As an added benefit, Piper, Cait, and Deacon will all gain affinity as long as the safe is unowned.

• Infinte caps

Go to any vendor where you can find any type of ammunition. Choose to purchase all of the same type of ammo, but do not confirm the purchase. After it appears on your side of the transaction screen, choose the ammo on your side of the screen and give one round of ammo back to the vendor. Then, choose to give all the ammo back to the vendor. If done correctly, you will have one round of ammo remaining on your side of the transaction screen. You can select that round of ammunition repeatedly to get all of the vendor's caps.

• Item duplication and unlimited stats

Get Dogmeat and return to Sanctuary. Find the 'You're Special!' book in the crib and use it. Drop it to the ground from your inventory. Tell Dogmeat to pick it up, but quickly collect it before he does so. If done correctly, he will drop the item and it will still be in your inventory (this can be done with any item to duplicate it). Pick up the copy Dogmeat dropped and to have two 'You're Special' books. Drop both books on the ground and one should activate again. To get unlimited books to increase your stats as desired, drop the book and duplicate it. Drop both books and pick them up. Drop one book and duplicate it, drop all the books and pick them up, then repeat by dropping one book and duplicating it.

• Settlements

Unlock a settlement's workshop to gain control of it and influence it. Each has a requirement that must be met before it can be used.

Pick the safe again, use the hacked terminal, then relock the safe. Repeat the process as many times as desired to earn lock experience every time. You will also gain favor with companions such as Piper, Cait, and Deacon as long as the safe is unowned.
