But this decision is ultimately upon @msg-commander – Keep in mind there are websites specific to share cheats, I think even GameFAQ have a section only to share cheats.
I’m also not sure if the Commander issue would be with cheating, or with specifically cheats which rip off developers (although as of late they’ve been trying to rip us off too… *sigh*).
In any case, I don’t think there’ll be any problem if you merely say “I have cheat sheets for Dragon Sinker PC”, because what MSG cannot see, cannot harm him either… (I’m pretty sure he said that in another thread but for the sake of me, I can’t find it again)

While as a long time moderator over on this Forum, I believe that “cheats” themselves are considered a big no-no. To further elaborate what can be considered “cheats”:
- Using third party programs to gain advantage over the game. Usually root based programs for Android and equivalent versions for PC (primary being Cheat Engine).
Using in-game discovered “bugs” can be considered “cheats” to some players but those do not require third party programs and are as such deemed fine and good. We have used plenty of such “bugs” to our advantage on this forum (Revenant Dogma being one such case).
TL;DR – “Bugs” are cool to exploit, but using third party programs is a no-no.

As far as cheats are concerned… if it’s something that requires a person to hack the game’s code or download additional files, I’d rather not have that stuff here.
I don’t know anything about Cheat Engine (in fact I’ve never even heard of it?) But the basic guideline for this forum is, if it’s a hack or something that would take money out of the developer’s pocket, it’s not allowed.
On the other hand, if there’s an existing bug in the game that lets you get free IAP points or extra gold or exp/whatever just by exploiting the bug, that’s allowed.

In any case, I seem to be having issues with the codes any hows, every time I shut down the game and reload the code addresses change so I have to do a re-scan manually again to find the new addresses
It’s actually quite common that certain engines change the pointers and memory address every save/load. I’ve ever seen a game which changed pointers and address every time a battle was complete.

Cheat Engine (Linux’s version is PINCE) is a memory manipulation program. PINCE (for Linux) works on a lower level, while Cheat Engine provides a neat interface. Not sure if any exist for Android.
Essentialy: The program needs to remember things, like the graphics it is showing, the sound it is playing, and more importantly, your data, like HP.
So, the program requests the Kernel to record on the RAM these data, and the Kernel returns it a memory address.As the one responsible for controlling the RAM Memory is the Kernel (Linux/DOS), and not the program itself, Cheat Engine and PINCE are capable to make requests to the Kernel to edit these same addresses without the original program knowing about.
Essentialy, you have 200 GP. This is recorded at memory address, say, “0x1f”. You open one of those tools, and request the Kernel to change the value recorded on 0x1f to 30000. When the program goes looking for how much GP you have, it’ll return whatever is on 0x1f – which is now 30000.
Typically, only programs running as superuser, as a different user, or running directly under the kernel have protection against this kind of attack. Because RAM memory is not safe, programs are instructed to never load raw passwords to memory. It’s the programmer’s responsability to include counter-measures to prevent memory sniffing or injection, either by encoding the values on memory (strong but slow, usually used only for passwords) or by dynamically assigning different memory address every time you open/load the program (weaker, but doesn’t impacts performance). There’s other options as well, like checking against plain text data, or using “reasonable variation” and “historical value” data. (Usually costy as well)
Memory injection may or may not be prohibted by the Terms of Service, please read the fine print before signing it. It counts as “indirectly affecting the software normal behavior” or whatever, the only difference from bots is that it bypass the original program entirely.
